A community platform for skincare enthusiasts
- Built with Ruby on Rails, Alpine.js, and TailwindCSS
- Deployed with Heroku, uses S3 & Cloudflare to serve static assets
- Processes background jobs using Sidekiq and Redis
- Over 50,000 monthly users via organic SEO
- Has analyzed over 100,000 skincare ingredient lists so far
2018 - Present
Adventure travel blog about off-the-beaten-path destinations
- Wordpress-based and uses a custom theme that I developed
- Receives over 5,000 readers per month

About Me
I grew up in Ottawa, Canada. Over the last five years, I've been earning a B. Eng. in Software Engineering from Carleton University and am due to graduate in April 2021.
During my degree, I completed two 4-month co-op work terms. Check out my resume to learn more about those.
I love to travel to off-the-beaten-path destinations, and over the last few years, I was able to travel to places that I never imagined I'd be able to see.
Some of my favourite experiences that I've had are:
- Solo-trekking through the mountains of Afghanistan's Wakhan Corridor
- Hitchhiking around Northern Pakistan
- 5000-kilometer road trip to almost every corner of Kyrgyzstan
- Travelling by train across Russia on the Trans-Siberian Railway
- Trekking to Everest Base Camp in Nepal
- Camping on a remote section of the Great Wall of China
Travelling has helped me strengthen my problem-solving skills, and I'm excited to apply the things I've learned on the road to my work.
